We are looking for a Welder to fabricate all parts and full projects requiring metal work with precision, and in a timely fashion. This position balances the needs of the project with the restraints of available resources by creating high quality products quickly and efficiently. The welder will work in all other fabrication departments as needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have the following:
• 3+ year professional welding experience
• Flexibility in work schedule that allows for occasional weekend and overnight shifts 
• Experience with all metal working tools for cutting, forming, joining, and assembly
• Ability to complete high-quality work under tight deadlines
• Experience in event, exhibition, set and retail fixture fabrication. 
• Proficiency in jig building

What will you do?
• Metal Fabrication
• Keeping the metal department safe, clean and organized
• Able to assist other departments on an as needed basis, from carpentry, to finishing, to packing to install.
• All other duties as assigned by the Fabrication Manager
• Respect and maintain strict safety standards

What will you do?

Project Manager

We are looking for someone to act as a conduit and facilitate information between all parties – internal and external. This can be achieved with 3 core responsibilities. Owning projects from Kickoff to Final Billing / Audit, Plan and Coordinate Project Resources, and Deliver Projects on Time, Within Budget and Exceeding Expectations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have the following:
(2-4 years experience managing clients and budgets
• 2+ years fabrication experience
• Must be excellent at prioritizing tasks
• Solution oriented thinking

What will you do?
o Lead day-to-day communication with Producers and Fabrication to ensure that project is meeting deadline
o Identify and describe Scope of Work and develop project budget / estimate.
o Produce meeting notes and delegate tasks accordingly.
o Ensure all project documents are current and accurate. Includes but is not limited to: Estimates, Elements list and Work-Back Schedule.
o Maintain projects digitally; including all assets, estimates, and client communication.
o Lead day-to-day communication with Fabrication and Engineering Managers as well as Producers regarding project status and needs.
o Work with Purchasing to identify, source and manage appropriate vendors and suppliers with given supply chain.
o Coordinate all change orders along the project time-line
o Develop, own and manage project work-back schedule
o Deliver great service to our client to help facilitate their needs.
o Identify future needs and ways Guild’s capabilities can help further client’s Brand
o Work closely with Project Coordinator to provide support when needed
o Quality control all elements throughout the production process

Draftsman
BROOKLYN
We are looking for a drafter to assists the engineering and fabrication teams by producing fabrication drawings for in-house and outsourced fabrication, with the direction of the Engineering Manager and Technical Director. The Drafter translates Basic models and drawings into complete mechanical models and drawings sets.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have the following:
¥ 2+ years’ experience in carpentry, metal work or CNC machining. Knowledge of finishing a plus. Design Engineering experience a plus.
¥ Must be able to work very quickly and accurately, keeping pace with a high-volume work-load.
¥ Must have experience with AutoCad. Rhino a plus.
¥ Strong working knowledge of build materials in wood, steel, aluminum, plastics and casting. Knowledge of LED and electrical a plus.
¥ Full knowledge of tools of the trade.

What will you do?
¥ Responsible for creating shop drawings, CD sets, bid drawings, install directives, and CNC files for in-house fabrication as well as contracted fabrication.
¥ Able to answer questions, clarifying mechanical and build sets, from the shop staff and project management.
¥ Help to determine and agree on standardized techniques with engineering and fabrication.
¥ Adhere to Engineering Group file structure and naming conventions
¥ All other duties as assigned by Engineer Manager or Technical Director.

CNC Operator

Qualifications:
We are looking for a responsible individual to perform shop duties with primary responsibility to run our CNC machine for wood, plastic and other typical display materials. Candidate must be flexible and ideally have some experience in setting up and running a CNC router machine and cabinet making experience. Duties will include programming with Rhinocam and other wood working shop duties as assigned.
