With over 50,000 participants every year, the world renowned NYC Marathon is organized chaos at its best. To help with foot traffic and congestion at the NY Road Runners-sponsored registration office of the marathon, Guild produced larger than life medals that were multi-functional to say the least. Each medal was constructed using MDF and made for a great directional landmark to help participants and their guests navigate the Jacob Javits Center. All five boroughs of NYC were represented with their own medal; making for an excellent way to segment the environment. When not used for navigational purposes, the medals also made for a great photo moment for guests to commemorate an unforgettable experience in America’s largest city.
