With just two short weeks to fully develop a fixture that would feature a Nike product lineup via a physical launch calendar, Guild honed in on a digital display concept. Using black courtwood floor slats mimicking an inverted city as the skirt of the table, the tabletop consisted of a semi-transparent mirrored glass positioned above a bed of addressable RGB LED lights. Guild created custom video content that was then translated to the addressable LED’s. The video content displayed was gestural to movement across a city grid. Shoe risers sat on top of the mirrortop showcasing the coveted Nike Quickstrike basketball collection. Vinyl text was printed on the fixture that shared the intended release date for all product that was displayed.
